Enjoy some exercise, save money and beat the traffic by cycling.

You don’t need anything fancy – fix up your old bike or buy secondhand.

If your sights are set on a new bike, find out whether your company supports the Cycle to Work scheme. This helps you spread the cost and provides a discount – and applies to e-bikes too if you want that extra boost.

If you don’t feel confident, Bristol’s Better by Bike initiative provides cycling training and a ‘loan a bike’ scheme so you can try-before-you-buy.
